Part 1 of the new archetypes for Dance of Masks are up:

Monk gets Drunken Master ('nuff said)

Slayer gets Bloodseeker (Dhampir-focused archetype w/c devs described as being inspired by Vampire Hunter D)

Bard gets Chelaxian Diva (more aggresive Bard archetype as well as having heavy armor proficiency in the 1st ed tabletop game)

Skald gets Inciter (has sneak attack, can taunt)

Fighter gets Titan Fighter (dual-wields 2-handed weapons presumably better than a fighter w/ the Titan Grip feat (aka Monkey Grip in DnD 3rd ed)

Inquisitor gets Living Grimoire (has a tome that they derive their abilities from)

Definitely going to create either a custom party member or have 1 of my Midnight Isle party be a Titan Fighter just to see how they'd look dual-wielding two 2-handers while having more 2-handers holstered in the other weapon slots.

Already thinking of what I'll do on my next run. I'm torn between a Cavalier Gendarme with plans to go Legend eventually and a Kineticist that goes full Demon.

The Cavalier seems simpler to play, but just Charging whenever possible seems like it'd get a little dull. Kineticist otoh seems a bit complex. Cavalier at the least seems like it'd have the easier early game, much like how my Sohei Monk run's early game was pretty easy.

Edit:

Fighter gets Titan Fighter (dual-wields 2-handed weapons presumably better than a fighter w/ the Titan Grip feat (aka Monkey Grip in Dn D 3rd ed)

This particular new archtype interests me. I can just imagine the potential dual wielding Falchions (which have one of the best crit ranges among two-handed weapons) can have, especially since the game has quite a few good falchions available in each Act.

Oh geez I have a bad case of alt it is.

I started a third brand new character. This time a half orc male wild lands shaman with a wolf pet with plans to merge Angel.

Guess what character that was based on.

Pathfinder: Kingmaker (6)My bet is on Thrall. W/c reminds me of a couple of house rules my friends & I made while playing DnD. Our DM got rid of the alignment restriction for the Assassin prestige class since my main back then was a bastard sword-wielding (w/c happens to be the biggest sword that can sneak attack) Ranger/Assassin (that was the only nongood prestige class he was willing to budge on as opposed to my other suggestions w/c were Pale Master & True Necro) & we cut the middleman and merged the half-orc & full-blooded orc into just one orc race due to Warcraft.

W/c reminds me, I'm thinking an Arcanist/Hellknight Signifier for an Aeon run but still unsure on what to use for Demon, Trickster & Legend. I'm thinking Sorcerer or Bloodrager then prestige class to Dragon Disciple for Gold Dragon but it feels kinda redundant. Still gonna use a Rageshaper for Azata and a vanilla Fighter for Lich though. Then Oracle for Angel.

I do find it sad that through these DL Cs we never got new Mythic paths. Especially as like half the ones in the game are barely implemented.

I imagine a new Mythic Path means a lot more content that has to be reactive than simply another archetype or dlc campaign.

Though maybe another late game Mythic Path would have been easier.

Disgusted, but not surprised

Pathfinder: Kingmaker (10)Pathfinder: Kingmaker (11)You kinda answered your own queston, didn't you? Shouldn't spend time adding new paths when many of the existing ones still need work.
