In a shocking announcement, Love Island stars Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury have announced their break-up.

But the former couple, who met on the ITV reality show in 2019, have both agreed daughter Bambi, one, is their ‘priority.’

Molly-Mae, 25, was the first to reveal their split after five years on Instagram with Tommy, also 25, following up with a separate statement half an hour later.

The influencer said she was ‘extremely upset’ to confirm the end of their relationship, while Tommy stated he was ‘heartbroken.’

The announcement has sparked mass hysteria among Molly-Mae and Tommy’s fans on social media with @Mooriarty0 saying their entire month had been ‘ruined.’

In her statement, Molly-Mae said: ‘Never in a million years did I think I’d ever have to write this.

‘After five years of being together, I never imagined our story would end, especially not this way. I am extremely upset to announce that mine and Tommy’s relationship has come to an end.’

Molly-Mae did not give the reason behind their shock break-up but did address Bambi.

She continued: ‘I will forever be grateful for the most important thing to me now and always, my beautiful daughter. Without us there would be no her, she will always be my priority.

‘I want to thank you all for the love you have shown us over the last five years. You have all been a part of our journey and I feel it’s right to share this with you all.’

‘Whilst I attempt to navigate the coming days and weeks please kindly respect my privacy over this difficult time. I’ll be back when it feels right. Molly-Mae x.’

Tommy said he was ‘heartbroken’ to share that he and Molly-Mae had parted ways on Instagram.

Echoing Molly-Mae’s statement, he said: ‘These past 5 years led to us having our beautiful baby girl, Bambi & I will be forever thankful to Molly for making me a dad. Bambi is our priority.

‘Please respect our privacy, and our family’s privacy, as we navigate our way through this difficult time.’

On X, Molly-Mae and Tommy’s split devastated fans as they were perceived as one of the UK’s strongest couples.

@arxhiiie declared: ‘That’s it, I’m finished.’

Echoing their sentiment, @katielenihanx stated: ‘Right that’s it love doesn’t exist NOT Molly-Mae & Tommy breaking up.’

@blitzchika said: ‘Molly-Mae and Tommy have broken up and everyone in my office are in a meltdown.’

When was Molly-Mae Hague last seen with Tommy Fury?

Tommy last featured in Molly-Mae’s YouTube vlog three weeks ago as they snuggled in bed together watching Love Island.

However, in her most recent video, she was seen becoming emotional as she described how she was solo parenting while Tommy was busy working on his new book.

‘I, to be honest with you, have been not feeling… like, I mean this week has just been a lot of emotions,’ she told viewers.

‘He’s done it now, and I’m so proud of him, because I know that was a really big deal to him, but I have been solo parenting pretty much the entire week. Actually I’ve been solo parenting for like, two weeks now, basically because Tommy’s just been so busy.’

She added: ‘When he’s home from doing work and stuff, he’s so incredible and so helpful. I can’t say any different, like, he’s such an incredible dad, but I have been this week, like, just really… mum life has been mum lifeing.

‘I feel like we’re going through a little bit of a challenging phase. Not only with Bambi, but also just with me and trying to juggle a lot.’
