Dignity Health provides equitable, knowledgeable and welcoming care for LGBTQ patients and their families.

Although Dignity Health is not a Catholic institution, the organization owned and operated 24 Catholic hospitals. While overall fiscal responsibility for these hospitals rests with the Board of Directors, certain reserve rights are still held by the religious orders that founded them.

We have recently upgraded our electronic medical record system to Athena! This is a great system that improves better management of our patient's preventative health appointments and screenings.

About CommonSpirit Health

CommonSpirit Health is a nonprofit, Catholic health system dedicated to advancing health for all people. It was created in February 2019 through the alignment of Catholic Health Initiatives and Dignity Health.

Your role at the fire's point of origin is to follow the L-I-F-E procedure, which stands for: (Check all that apply) - Life safety. - Initiate alarm. - Evacuate. In the case of an actual fire in the hospital, Code RED will be paged overhead.

Dignity uses Cerner for patient charting. Teletracking is used for bed assignments.

A sharps container is used to safely dispose of sharp medical instruments. These containers should be changed out when they are 3/4 full to prevent overfilling and potential exposure to infection.
